For some reason, taking hip hop classics and mashing them up with old footage of Jim Henson's Muppets is all the rage on the Internet. Not that we're complaining, as they have yielded some of the most entertaining (and utterly hilarious) viral videos we've ever seen. The last one we got was a Sesame Street reimagining of A Tribe Called Quest's all time classic "Scenario." Now, YouTube user isthishowyougoviral brings us a mashup that we can't believe no one thought of before, the Muppets taking on Outkast's "Ms. Jackson."
The video casts Kermit as Big Boi and Gonzo as Andre 3000 (which we have to say is a genius choice), with assistance on piano from resident Muppet musician Rowlf. While other iconic Muppets get in on the act, the clip really comes into focus when Gonzo 3000 takes the mic, as the chicken-loving character earnestly sings the song to his little chickadee and even addresses a mother hen about his situation with her daughter.
