Probably one of the year's most anticipated releases, Everything's Beautiful continues to pique our curiosity as to how it will sound. The collaborative effort spearheaded by Robert Glasper in tribute to the one and only Miles Davis features many of our faves providing their own takes on what the famed trumpeter might sound like or be doing in the modern day, and with tracks like "Ghetto Walkin'" and "Violets," we have definitely liked what we've heard from the set thus far. To further stoke interest in the project, there's now a creative visual accompanying the Bilal-featuring "Ghetto Walkin'" for us to enjoy.

Though neither Bilal nor Robert appear in any shape or form in the video, their music is allowed to speak for itself as the video provides a visual counterpart. The clip was created by Jay Kaslo and John Vondracek of design and animation outfit String Theory (with art direction by Alice Butts) and attempts to bring to life the dynamic, hand-drawn illustration of Everything's Beautiful's cover. They do so by showing the journey of the protagonist through the streets. We get everything evoked in the song's lyrics, from graffiti-covered buildings to the ever-present police action and other aspects of street life. However, there's also a hope that is conveyed throughout, perhaps because of the constant presence of light amid the darker imagery.

Check out "Ghetto Walkin'" here and mark your calendars for the May 27th release of Everything's Beautiful.
