Something special happens when a familial bond translates into musical synergy. We can't quite put it into words, but we know it when we hear it -- and the ladies of Jcksn Ave certainly have our attention. The Jackson sisters (no relation to the other musical Jackson family) – Madison, Jessica, Moriah, Kristian and Hannah – grew up singing together, officially forming the group in 2001. Since then, they've been perfecting their genre-blending sound by writing, producing and arranging music, performing locally and even independently releasing two singles.
Now the Memphis-bred quintet is signed to PJ Morton's new Morton Records label and are ready to show the world what they're capable of with "All These Dreams," an inspirational tune delivering a message of perseverance and encouragement. Sentimental strains from an acoustic guitar set the stage for the hopeful ballad. And though the accompaniment is later amplified by the addition of moody synth, bass and percussion, the track maintains a measured pace, allowing the ladies' lush harmonies and meaningful lyrics to make an impact on the listener.
We can all use some positive vibes to head into the weekend, so take a listen to "All These Dreams" below and purchase your copy via iTunes or Amazon today. Keep scrolling to get further acquainted with the sister act through their previous tracks "Without You" and "If You Believe in Love."
