JoJo made waves earlier this year when she released her three-song "tringle" to the masses of fans yearning for new music from the singer. However, while the singles rolled out together, she's been a bit more deliberate with the release of visuals for the tracks. We got the first video of from tringle when she dropped "When Love Hurts" exactly a month ago, and today she brings us the next clip with "Say Love."
The song itself, a rousing, dramatic pop ballad about her need to hear those three little words from her significant other, gets an equally dramatic video treatment. We see Miss Levesque and her beau out in the wilderness and in what appears to be a swank little cabin. Rain pours down the window as she looks upon her beau, who has his back to the camera as he manages his best moody glare for the viewer. But as the chorus rises, the rain is suddenly gone and we're in a classic car with the twosome, but then suddenly we're walking down winding road with them. All the while, we're treated to their awkward silences, and JoJo simply asks for one simple thing: for him to let her know that he loves her.
To be honest, the clip is a bit too typical, with many of tropes playing out on the screen. However, JoJo's commitment to the part keeps things interesting at least, even if it all comes off as a bit predictable. But don't take our word for it, see for yourself when you press play below.
