Columbia Nights have had no days off in October. This busy month found the trio releasing a single, a music video, an album and doing press for the new collection all while working their day jobs or attending grad school. That's quite a full plate, but when you're in hot pursuit of your dreams, as Hayling Price, John E Daise and Jason Edwards are, you can sit back and relax later.

Although Columbia Nights aren't taking any time to chill right now, you'll be inclined to do just that when you listen to their album In All Things. It's the ideal soundtrack to vibe out to with their signature soultronic sounds taking you away on a sonic vacation. That's definitely the case with the first single "Glide" that features singer Vaughan Octavia and takes listeners floating on the wings of love.  The song's visuals are more down to earth, with Hayling, John, Jason and Vaughan performing outdoors surrounded by sunshine, blue skies and green grass and plants. Director Antonia Colodro skillfully combines close ups of the group members playing their instruments and Octavia singing in a beautiful white dress with nature shots that it's not apparent until the video's end that they're simply in a backyard and not on a nature hike. Well played and nicely done.

Shortly after In All Things was released, Columbia Nights had an album release party in the DMV area at Bump 'n Grind in Silver Spring, MD and shared their new music with their hometown crew of family, friends and fans. The event was not only a celebration of their full-length debut, but it gave the group members an opportunity for those in attendance to gain some insight into the making of In All Things. During the event, videographer Reese Bland got Price, Daise and Edwards in front of his camera to share their inspiration, history, creative process and excitement about the "cohesive listening experience" that is In All Things.
