Pharrell Williams  joined the interesting lineup during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards to perform his latest single "Freedom." Waiting patiently for his turn at the outdoor stage at the Orpheum, Pharrell opened up his performance with his declaration of independence, stating "Tonight we come to let loose. Tonight we came to dance." And dance he did with a group of dapper men and women decked out in bright colors, with the letter "F" on their uniforms. While Pharrell dominated the stage with his charged up performance and infectious energy, the audience surrounded the stage waving their multi-colored flags in solidarity. Skateboard P had the audience enraptured as he screamed "Freedom!" repeatedly over the harmonious chorus.
