It was just a few weeks ago that Nicolay hit us with the one-two punch of two new songs and an album announcement. That album, City Lights Vol. 3: Soweto, is now here with today being its official release date, and fans of the cucumber cool producer and multi-instrumentalist are dancing in the streets to his latest collection of global grooves. Continuing the party started by "The Brightest Star" and non-album cut "Afterglow," the next track to get the single treatment is "The Secret," and it's no surprise that we still can't sit still.

"The Secret" starts with a repeated thump that is soon joined by drum beats and Nic's signature synths layered throughout. The instrumental combination comes together to create the perfect jam to two-step to. This dance soiree wouldn't be complete without some vocals added to the mix, which Nic's partner in crime in The Foreign Exchange, Phonte, provides. He smoothly croons and coaxes his lady with the lyric, "Just keep dancing, don't you stop / And I'ma take it way up to the top / Cause I want you, baby." How could she not let the groove get into her? And it'll definitely get into you once you listen to "The Secret" and this album in its entirety.

One thing is for sure, Nicolay knows "The Secret" to good music, and the team at +FE Music have that formula down. City Lights Vol. 3: Soweto is available on the +FE Music website, Amazon and iTunes. We've gotten the scoop that Nicolay has plans to do a few spot dates to support this new album, so be on the look out for those coming soon.
