Leon Bridges is hands-down one of our favorite R&B newcomers this year. The soulful Texan with the throwback sound has many anticipating his upcoming album Coming Home with songs like his most recent single, "Smooth Sailin'." Speaking of which, the singer recently dropped a video for the track that encompasses the smoothed-out, '60s-inspired soul of the record effortlessly.

Set up like a performance on one of the '60s shows known for breaking acts like The Supremes and The Beatles to the world, the clip features Leon surrounded by his band and dressed smartly in a tailored teal suit and navy button down shirt. It's a simple enough concept, especially with the song's throwback appeal. But even sharper looking than the man of the moment are his moves. While nothing here is precisely choreographed, Leon cuts several rugs as he boogies and woogies to his own groove. While things do get a little spastic at times, though, he manages to keep everything just as smooth as the song's title and pours on the charm in the song's final moments.

Check out Leon dancing to the beat of his own drum in the "Smooth Sailin'" clip below. And if that inspiring bit of youthful exuberance gets your feet tapping, then head over to iTunes to pre-order Coming Home, which will arrive later this month on June 23rd.
