Timbaland protégée Tink just released her latest single "I Like," and she's infused it with enough R&B for us to forget she even spit her "Ratchet Commandments" just a few weeks ago. While she's not dropping lyrics about the ratchet things we see on Instagram, the multi-talented rapper/singer is crooning about what she likes about her significant other. Produced by Chicago's C-Sick, the track follows the style of her Aaliyah-sampling single “Million,” which is classic R&B at its best. "Are you here to make s**t right / Are you here to loan me your chest when I cry at night?" she sings, later reminding her partner, "Don't blame me for my issues." So there's a tad bit of dysfunction here, but we can guarantee you'll enjoy listening to her flawless vocals as she runs through each verse with ease.
Tink is currently working on her full-length debut album, Think Tink, which debuts later this year. While we wait for a release date and another single, we can tell from her last few releases that she can lyrically tear up the mic and then turn around and get romantic with it at the same time.
