As American Idol limps into its final year next season, it celebrated the end of its penultimate season the only way the show's producers know how: with a star-studded finale and the crowning of the new Idol winner. A multitude of performers were on hand for the occasion, but no one put on a show quite like repeat guest Janelle Monáe, who came to the show to flex her latest single, "Yoga," all over the stage.

Wearing her signature black and white — but with an athletic twist — and a crown, Janelle hit the Idol audience both at home and in the theater with a rather energetic performance of the track, complete with an all-female troupe of backing dancers, drummers and a DJ holding her down. After delivering her verses (which included the peculiar edit "Get off my little ola"), season 14 contestant Adanna Duru strutted on the stage to join in on the fun just before Wondaland's own Jidenna delivered his freaky verse. Unfortunately, Adanna got very little time to shine as this performance was all about Janelle working (out) the crowd. Sorry 'bout it.

All in all, the talented threesome delivered a showstopping number that surely had the crowd flexing in their seats. Get your flex on when right here when you press play and check out exactly how Janelle and friends put it down last night.
