Tuxedo Goes Old School For 'So Good'

Tuxedo So Good Video Still

Tuxedo's blend of funk and old school R&B on their self-titled debut is a much welcome blast from future's past. But the duo isn't content with just going retro for their sound. For the video for their single "So Good," the fellas go all the way back to the days of VHS (remember that?). And we're not talking about just making it look like the old school video medium. They actually shot the clip on VHS on a Los Angeles soundstage to give it that authentic feel. Crazy right?

But they also bring out the retro vibe here in other ways. The fellas rock white tuxedo jackets as they do their very best two-step to the synth-heavy jam. But perhaps the best part is the backup singer rocking the gold lamé jumpsuit who's slapping her thigh with the tambourine. You go, girl!

If you're enjoying the vibe of "So Good" and digging the video, then there's plenty more where that came from on Tuxedo's self-titled debut, which is in stores now.
