Soulful British pop singer Jessie J paves the musical road to the Pitch Perfect 2 premiere with her latest single "Flashlight." The single is not only the first from the official soundtrack but also plays a part in the big finale of The Barden Bells' performance in the movie. Of course, the visuals, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, include scenes from the upcoming musical comedy, as we find Jessie walking around a college campus and later decked out in sequins illuminated by you guessed it--flashlights.
The single, which features Jessie's effortless, booming vocals, was penned by fellow artists Sam Smith and Sia. The Pitch Perfect 2 soundtrack debuts May 12th, and the movie itself hits theaters on May 15th. You can expect to hear The Barden Bells all over the soundtrack, and also a single written and performed by cast member Ester Dean.
