Judith Hill’s Back In Time is right on time and filled with surprises
Surprise albums are the new black. But a surprise album with Prince involved? That’s black and purple. That’s what former The Voice contestant Judith Hill dropped on the unsuspecting masses when her debut album Back In Time surfaced online along with news that she was now down with royalty. Hill is Prince’s newest protege and he produced Back In Time, a collection of soulful tunes that hopscotches between genres. The most shocking aspect of all, however, was that the album was being given away for a limited-time free download before its official release. Now that we know that these two are in cahoots, we’ll patiently wait for whatever they have coming next. -- Butta
