Black Girls Rock! 2015 was once again the uplifting and entertaining awards show that we've come to expect from the biennial production. The honorees and performers alike came together to bring Beverly Bond's brainchild to glorious life and there was no shortage of powerful moments and performances, such as when British songstress Estelle graced the stage to perform her hit song "Conqueror."
Although Estelle's "Conqueror" may have surfaced last summer, the song has gotten a second wind in 2015 thanks to her guest appearance on Empire this March, when she turned the song into a duet with with series star Jussie Smollett. She confidently took the BGR stage by herself this time and clocked in a rather impressive vocal while dancers' silhouettes were seen behind a large screen behind her. Their interpretive dance added a stunning visual component to Estelle's staid demeanor.
