DJ and Producer Ezel is by far one of our favorite refix-ers. This year he’s been holding us down with his sultry renditions of singles from the likes of Quadron and Janet Jackson. This time he’s gone a little further back to revisit Rufus and Chaka Khan‘s 1983 hit “Ain’t Nobody.” Ezel’s version is less a declaration of love like the original but adds a little more sex appeal when he slows it down to make yet another slinky single to groove to. In addition to screwing the vocals, giving them a more masculine touch, Ezel strips the signature beat and makes it more digital, adding a few feminine ad-libs and percussion in between.
Just like the single declares ain’t nobody but Ezel can can make us feel this way. Listen to the “Bayacou Guine” remix of “Ain’t Nobody” and let us know what it does to you. You can hear more from the Santo Domingo-bred producer over on his SoundCloud page.
