The Intimate Truth Tour came to Baltimore, MD on Sunday, March 15, 2015 for a night filled with amazing performances from start to finish. Kicking the show off, as she does every night, was soulful spitfire Leela James. The young talent with an old soul came out on stage with a mane of black and golden hair atop her head and two dancing feet -- and she wasn't afraid to get on the good foot. Leela shook her shimmy throughout her set, feeding off of the energy of the sold out crowd and her all-the-way-live band.
Leela kicked things up a notch when she performed her debut song, "Music," that had fans singing along and two-stepping in the aisles of the packed Modell Performing Arts Center at The Lyric. After turning up for a spell, she turned things down with a heartfelt rendition of "Fall For You," taken from her 2014 release of the same name, which set the stage for her big finish with the rousing blues of "Set Me Free." Leela James took those in attendance to church and served up a hearty meal of soul food for Sunday dinner.
