There's nothing like a healthy game of touch football between friends. But when those friends are some of the dopest indie soul artists on the scene, then the game gets real. That's what we have here with the Battle of the Soul Stars in Eric Roberson's fun new video for the song "I'm Not Trying To Keep Score No More."

Shot on location during last year's Capital Jazz Fest Cruise, Erro rounded up a few of his fellow performers and friends on the music circuit for a battle of the sexes on the beach. Roberson is captain of the men's team, and Carolyn Malachi is captain of the women's team as well as the leading lady. In the mix and cutting up are solo acts Anthony David, Avery*Sunshine, Algebra Blessett and Carmen Rodgers; DJs DJ Kemit and DJ Frances Jaye; radio personalities Tony Richards and Cayman Kelly and from the Capital Jazz Fest production team, Jodine Dorce and Dave Dickinson. With this vibrant cast of characters, you better believe there were lots of shenanigans and hijinks happening on this field. Some of these players got game, though, and it's comical to watch them all in action and really playing to win.

At one point everyone starts arguing about a call, and Eric and Carolyn are over it because neither are trying to keep score no more. (See what Erro did there?) They break away from the guys and gals and decide to take a lover's excursion around the island. They go sightseeing by taxi  and enjoy lots of laughs and each other's company. When you're vacationing with your bae, it doesn't get any better than that.
