Omar Lye-Fook is making a return to the dance floor after successfully joining forces with EVM-128 on "Beyond" and DJ Fudge and Hallex M on "Simpatico." But this time the UK singer is teaming up with global/ancestral soul house music purveyor Boddhi Satva for some thump on the tune "Benefit.

Under lyrics penned by Omar, the AfroSoul beat pulsates with the ongoing tap of the drums, which get accessorized with other acoustic elements. But for the most part, the beat doesn't turn into a full-on club number, instead keeping it simple but danceable. And we're not mad at all that some steel drums got thrown in for added cultural appeal.

Now, back to those lyrics. Lye-Fook seems to have written a song asking-warning-begging his lady to not take his heart for granted, with the listener's interpretation varying from line to line. His soulful wails will come across as haunting and pleading, but always passionate and heartfelt, proving this isn't a song that should be relegated solely to the dance floor.

"Benefit" will appear on Satva's forthcoming album #Transition, which is scheduled for release early this year.
