Tuxedo, who only last week revealed themselves to be Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One, are all about the holiday spirit. So much so that off the back of the recent announcement that their debut full length album will be released in March, they've dropped a little Christmas treat. The soulful surprise comes in the form of "Wonderful Christmastime," a cover of the Paul McCartney classic.

The duo keep "Wonderful Christmastime" in the style of the original and in line with their throwback '80s funk style. It's all about the synths here, and the song's got lots of 'em. They accent the sound with hand claps and top it off with that catchy chorus that has come to add warmth to many a Christmas since '79. Hawthorne's vocals are perfectly suited to this track too, with his smooth tone going down as easily as a nip of brandy in eggnog. In keeping with the festive season's spirit of giving, the track is available for free download via SoundCloud, so be sure to get your copy to make sure your ears most definitely have a wonderful Christmas time.
