Majid Jordan Seduces Our Senses With 'Her'

Majid Jordan Her Still

It seems that Majid Jordan are trying to divert attention from their boss Drake's wild weekend (the "0-100" rapper was dragged into Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran's Twitter melodrama and was subsequently slapped by Diddy in an incident that may or may not have sent him to the hospital), and with their visually stunning video for "Her," they might just succeed. The track, found on their debut EP A Place Like This, is a pleasurable three minutes of synth and quietly rumbling bass sure to remind you of some of your favorite slow jams of the '80s and '90s.

For the song's video, the duo decided to go with a black-and-white aesthetic that makes for a visually arresting clip. Focusing mainly on the group's singer, Majid Al-Maskati, the clip finds him crooning against a stark white background surrounded by similarly dressed women. However, what seems simple is quickly made complex as the women bend and move in interesting ways and a few simple special effects tricks add a bit of drama and style to the affair.  It's quite the sumptuous experience indeed. Take a look at "Her" right here and, if you haven't already, pick up A Place Like This on iTunes.
