If you're a K. Michelle fan, then you're probably a happy camper right now. The singer/reality TV star gave an early Christmas present to her fans with yesterday's release of her highly anticipated sophomore album, Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?. But while the album is gift enough, she also blessed us with a new video for her track "Something About the Night."

For this go 'round, K. decides to flex her acting muscles a bit, playing a surly nightclub diva with a bit of a drinking problem. But her prickly demeanor doesn't stop her from putting on quite a show. She works the stage like nobody's business, even snatching mics from her backup singers so that she can move around a bit. In fact the clip's so entertaining to watch the singer perform that we're almost willing to forgive her lack of acting skills the video's inability to pick which decade it wants to be in. It seems like it's supposed to take place in the 1930s or '40s, but then she and her singers perform like a '60s girl group and there are more than a few anachronisms going on throughout the video.

That being said, it's still a highly entertaining clip and, judging by the video's end, there is more to come soon. Get into "Something About the Night" and be sure to pick up Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?, which is in stores now.
