“Home for the Holidays,” which features guest vocals from “I Don’t Want to Be” rock-soul crooner Gavin DeGraw, may at first lead viewers to believe they are watching the annual Christmas Yule Log on TV (you know, the thing that burns on local channels while music of the season plays in the background, and you and your family open gifts?), but soon the video transforms into a musical postcard.

Family photos of folks wearing Santa hats, dressed in their Sunday best or donning matching outfits fly, scroll or float across the screen. The smiling faces even get more pep with some of the background graphics, featuring images such as decorations, presents and snow globes.

Be it pictures with pets or just the parents, the warm and fuzziness of family emanates for a cozy viewing and listening experience of “Home for the Holidays,” earning a soft spot on our list of modern Christmas classics.
