Kelly Rowland joined the musical Mommy’s club this month as she gave birth to her firstborn child Titan Jewell Witherspoon. After releasing her little bundle of joy into the world she decided to bless us with a special new song that she has dedicated to her son. “Mommy’s Little Baby (A Lullaby)” is a precious little R&B jam produced by Verse Simmonds and The Order, and it finds Rowland completely in awe and enamored by her young one, as she should be. “I’ve waited all my life to see ya / I’ve been dreamin’ about you,” she sings. Motherhood sounds quite lovely on the Destiny’s Child alumna. Along with making your heart flutter, this record is a reminder of Kelly’s musical progress and how incredible that Talk A Good Game album was. Here’s to hoping that little Titan gives Kelly the inspiration to get back to business and pop out another stellar album or two after she rests up a bit.
