Mary J. Blige is getting us good and ready for the release of her next album, The London Sessions, with audio aplenty, and now we get to see the first official music video from the project. UK single "Right Now" gets a visual treatment that is a behind-the-scenes look at MJB recording the song with co-producers Disclosure. The black-and-white clip is primarily of Mary in the recording studio laying down vocals or kicking it behind the boards with all of her collaborators while they all nod their heads to the grooves they're hearing. Sprinkled in are some shots of Mary being chauffeured around Londontown like a boss, and her husband Kendu Isaacs even has a brief cameo.
Overall, the video is a simple yet effective one. Queen Mary looks fabulous as usual, and it's cool to get this look of her in her element in the studio bopping and bouncing along to the music. She's feeling it as much as we are.
