Deemed the Queen of Inspirational Soul, Ann Nesby is back after a five-year hiatus with a new single aptly titled "Remember." On "Remember" we hear Ann's soul warm up the track and her vocals add the perfect layer of R&B we've been yearning for. After taking some time off making music, Ann wants us to remember when things were good. While she takes us on a trip down memory lane, she tells us to "Look back and remember, back when things were good / How he made you laugh, how she understood."
The song is an ode to marriage and relationships, particularly hers to manager Timothy Lee, which has lasted 20 years. Longevity is the name of the game here and with more tracks like this we'd say Ann is definitely one of the top players. The Kendrick Dean and Brandon "B.A.M" Alexander-produced track is mid-tempo and more suited towards a more mature crowd, but it's positive message can be appreciated by all.
