Taylor McFerrin's Early Riser has been one of the many soundtracks of this past summer. Now that it's fall, we're looking forward to nodding our heads to Taylor's chilled out grooves in the coming crisp weather. To aid in that, Taylor and his label, Brain Feeder, have finally released a video for the album's lead single, the Nai Palm-featuring "The Antidote."
It's clear that Taylor and the video's director Simon Benjamin wanted the video to evoke the dream-like atmosphere of the song. Animated in black and white, the trippy clip features visual representations of Taylor and Nai Palm floating among the stars as the ordinary becomes the basis of a dream world were nothing is exactly what it seems. After our black-and-white trip, were brought back into the real world where Taylor appears to be sleepwalking through the streets of NYC. Or is he? As the camera pans down, we see that Taylor's feet aren't touching the ground at all.
If you're digging this, then know that Early Riser has much more where that came from. As well, you can catch Taylor on his Early Riser Tour, which he's already started and is set to hit cities all over the world. For more info on tickets, dates and venues, click here.
