For the past 24 hours, Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj's collaboration on the song "Bang Bang" has taken over the world with a blitz surrounding the music video's release and their performances on the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Premiered exclusively on MTV.com, the visuals delivered a big "Bang Bang" for the three performers and for Beats B Dre, which is all over the clip promoting the new Pink Mixr headphones and Pink Pill XL portable speaker.
Heavy product placement aside, the video is a colorful and big affair much like the ladies themselves. Each woman is introduced in a scene true to her character -- Jessie is the cool chick in a classic car stopping traffic and people in their tracks with her voice, Ariana is the sweet tart kicking it in her bedroom in hot pants and high heels belting out notes for her friends and Nicki is as over the top as her rhymes arriving in a helicopter on a rooftop with very agile dancers surrounding her. There's lots of dancing and prancing and soon the women meet up on a rooftop overlooking the bright lights of the big city and the party continues.
