Bounce-Worthy: Steffanie Christi’an

A video posted online in 2011 features Christi’an belting Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” offering up a signature take on the radio staple. Yes, despite having a number of influences, even then it was easy to grasp Steff Chris' sound and that continued to be true as she sang lead for her band, FluxPhonic. Having been singing since she was nine years old, it seems evident that Steff Chris is comfortable being an outsider and being unique. And instead of trying to do way too much, she’s focused on what she does well -- devoting herself completely to her craft and keeping her art real rather than conforming to what people might expect her sing.
