Taylor McFerrin released his stellar album, Early Riser, in June, and with its list of guests including Nai Palm, Thundercat and Emily King, it certainly did not disappoint. Like a gift that just keeps giving, a new track that appears as a bonus on the Japanese version of the album has surfaced, and it only adds the greatness of the collection.

"My Queen" is a mellow number that, despite its simplicity, is as decadent as hot chocolate made with Belgium chocolate. You best believe that this song goes down as smoothly as that hot chocolate on a cold winter's night, too. That's thanks to collaborator Vincent Parker, who you may remember from McFerrin's 2008 release, Broken Vibes. Parker's voice melts all over the subtle piano and guitar as he sings of his adoration of his queen. Have a listen to "My Queen," and you'll be doing your darnedest to find the Japanese version of Early Riser simply for this stunning song.
