It's been two years in the making, but finally Fatima's long-awaited debut LP, Yellow Memories, is now available. The Swedish songstress has been a long-time favorite here at SoulBounce thanks to a handful of solo material (such as her Mindtravellin' and Follow You EPs) as well as expertly executed collaborations with the likes of Funkineven, Eric Lau and DaM-FunK. The 12-track collection features previous singles "Circle" and "Family/La Neta" alongside the hip-hop bounce of the Scoop Deville-produced "Ridin' Round (Sky High)," the stunningly simple "Underwater" and the uplifting, horn-fueled "Do Better," which was produced by regular collaborator Floating Points.
The good news is folks that the entire album has been well worth the excruciating wait and we are sure that Yellow Memories is just the beginning of a long and successful career for Fatima.
