Although we have not seen Idris Elba bless our big screens since his stunning performance in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, everyone's favorite boo has been steadily working and creating other artistic ventures beyond acting. A true Renaissance man at heart, Elba continues to surprise us with his diverse artistic skills. Periodically, he will pop up before a mic to sing or rap, such as the case for his guest appearance on Mr. Hudson's haunting track "Step Into the Shadows" earlier this month.
Also this month, Elba stepped behind the camera and made his directorial debut for a short film called "Unstoppable for Pepsi's Beats of the Beautiful Game. Written and directed by Idris, the short is a cute six-minute story about school life and the love for football in the '70s.
But what really brings us here today is Elba's DJ skills witj his Look With Your Ears Mix -Vol. 2. Earlier this year, he had us soul clapping to the grooves on Look With Your Ears- Vol. 1. Now the good times continues with DJ Driis curating the perfect soundtrack for your next party. For a special summer residency, Idris will continue to party rock as a guest DJ at Ibiza Rocks House for nine weeks from July 5th to August 30th.
