In great news for Braxton Family Values fans, it appears as if Toni Braxton will continue to broaden her acting repertoire by taking on her latest performance project for the small screen. Braxton is slated to play Darlene Love in the upcoming OWN biopic My Name Is Love: The Darlene Love Story. If you aren't aware or haven't seen the Oscar-winning documentary 20 Feet From Stardom, Darlene Love is the singer behind the hits "He's A Rebel" and "He's Sure The Boy I Love" and is one of the most iconic voices and personalities to emerge from the '60s, working with Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, backing the likes of Aretha Franklin and working with Phil Spector (before it all went awry). It's no surprise that this legendary talent should get her own movie detailing her somewhat fascinating life. Toni seems to be a good fit for the part with her acting background and gifted vocals. It'll be interesting to see what she brings to her starring role in My Name is Love: The Darlene Love Story, which is set to premiere on OWN in December 2014.
