DJ Tedsmooth gives K. Michelle's cautionary R&B tale "Can't Raise A Man" a makeover with some hip hop soul flavor perfect for the dance floor. The master remixer switches things up and switches out the music from the original song and blends K.'s vocals with a sample of Chauncey Black from Foxy Brown featuring Blackstreet's "Get Me Home" (which itself sampled Eugene Wilde's 1984 slow jam "Gotta Get You Home Tonight"). The intro of the remix sets things off with the "Go Brooklyn!" chant taken from LL Cool J's "Doin' It." On paper, it sounds like there's a lot going on, but it all comes together surprisingly well in Tedsmooth's hands.  "Can't Raise A Man" was just fine as-is, but this remix gives it the upgrade we didn't know it needed.
