Little Dragon‘s comeback single, the pulsing, energetic “Klapp Klapp,” was everything we expected from the Swedish group that electronic, pop and soul influences so effortlessly. However, sometimes to fully digest the lyrical content of a song, you need to slow things down. British producer Girl Unit has done just that, taking “Klapp Klapp” down a few bpm and replacing the instruments with moody synth flourishes. The result is almost a completely different song, highlighting the introspective lyrics that you might’ve missed in the bombastic original version. That being said, both versions are pretty spectacular and you can’t go wrong with either. So which do you prefer, LD’s original recipe or Girl Unit’s slow-roasted version. You be the judge when you take a listen right here.
