With 2013 being so stuffed with music, it's hard to imagine 2014 living up to the previous year's musical standards. But if this tease from SBTRKT is any indication, this year will do just fine. During a set, the masked wonder dropped a surprising gem from two years ago entitled "Runaway." Describing it as simply a "collab with friends," he brought together the likes of Jessie Ware, Sampha and Tic for a '90s-styled slow burn groove. Full of atmospheric, moody synth, it channels a bit of an Aaliyah-like vibe as Jessie delivers a breathy vocal and the collaborative dream team works their collective magic. At just over a minute, this taste is just too short for our liking, though. You can't just tease such greatness and then leave us hanging! That complaint aside, we can only hope that there's more to come from SBTRKT's way as the year goes on.
