Golden-voiced BBC Sound of 2014 winner Sam Smith has been busy pushing his new single “Money On My Mind,” the last few weeks in preparation for its official release on February 16th. However, today completely out of the blue, Sam has released the song “Make It To Me” for free via iTunes. The track will be included on the deluxe edition of In the Lonely Hour, scheduled for release in May, and it sees Sam revert to the lush, soulful balladry that we are familiar with thanks to songs such as “Lay Me Down” and “Safe With Me.” Personally, I much prefer this track to the official single, but it looks like Sam is going to be covering all bases when his debut drops.
