Kid 'N' Play Get Things 'Rollin'' On 'Arsenio'

Kid N Play Arsenio

Sometimes entertainers come back to visit and we wish they'd stayed in hibernation, but last night The Arsenio Hall Show got more than welcome visitors.  Kid 'N' Play surprised Arsenio Hall's audience with an awesome blast from the past, taking us back to their House Party days. Initially sitting in the back of the audience, Christopher "Kid" Reid and Christopher "Play" Martin interrupted Arsenio to protest their "nosebleed seats" as the audience looked back, shocked to see the two hip-hop icons. They went on to perform a medley of "Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody" and "Rollin' with Kid 'N' Play." About 20 years since their last Arsenio appearance, the two rappers, now in their 50s, didn’t skip a beat. With background dancers to keep the energy up, the duo rapped and danced to their go-go infused hits, even doing Da Butt during the performance. Sure Kid could stand to shave off what’s left of his high-top fade, but they both looked good and did their infamous House Party choreography like it was 1990. We were rolling with Kid 'N' Play last night during the entire performance and hope this is the beginning of a return for the duo.
