Jhené Aiko Makes Her 'Late Night' Debut With 'The Worst'

Before she joined Drake on Saturday Night Live's stage, Jhené Aiko performed “The Worst” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon the night before. Backed by The Roots, the petite songstress gave a mesmerizing performance of the track from her EP Sail Out, singing each note with emotion and genuine care. The earnest performance gave Aiko the opportunity to showcase her sensitive side. Each time Aiko sang “I don’t need you” she exuded a variety of emotions. She had a few pitch problems towards the end of the track, but overall she did herself and the song justice for her late-night television debut. Aiko is set to release her first solo album, Souled Out, in May but until then we look forward to catching more of her and her live performances.
