It seems like the musical planets have aligned for quite a few of our favorite rising British talents of late, the fruits of which we should be able to sample in what is shaping up to be a great 2014. The likes of MNEK, Rosie Lowe, Sinead Harnett, Moko and Laura Welsh are all lining up debut albums for next year, and we can expect sophomore sets from the likes of Jessie Ware, Stac, Andreya Triana and Lianne La Havas. If that wasn't enough to put an instant smile on your face then the news that Kwabs -- he of "Spirit Fade" fame -- is also working on his album may just seal the deal. He is working on the project alongside the likes of Plan B and Dave Okumu, and we have a taste of what's to come with his latest single, the SOHN-produced "Last Stand." In a similar vein to "Spirit Fade," "Last Stand" is a haunting, gospel-inflected slice of soul music with an almost hymn-like quality, which sees Kwabs deliver an emotional punch of epic proportions. Take my money now! [H/T: SC]
