DMV Bouncers will be amongst some of the first to experience the wonderment and splendor of the Robert Glasper Experiment live on the Black Radio 2 Tour, which pulls into the area this weekend. On Friday, November 1st, Robert Glasper and company will perform in Baltimore at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall with Common and Marsha Ambrosius, and Sunday, November 3rd will find them performing in Alexandria, VA at The Birchmere (minus Com and Marsh, that is). Wedged in between those two concerts will be a special appearance in Washington, DC proper when the group stops by Liv Nightclub for a Black Radio 2 listening party and live Q&A with the fellas on Saturday, November 2nd. DJ sets by Munch and DJ StutzMcgee (bka Casey Benjamin of Robert Glasper Experiment) will keep the people moving throughout the evening event, which starts at 6 pm. Admission is free with RSVP on Eventbrite, and there will be on open bar courtesy of Jim Beam until 7 pm. Good music, good drinks and good people? We're there. And you should be, too.
