Lyfe Jennings should win the Lifetime Achievement Award for Hating, because his new song "I Wish" is nothing short of a salty lover's ode to lost love. This track, off his upcoming Lucid album, takes the listener deep in the dark heart of a scorned beau, who now wishes that his old flame is "hit with a truck and dies." Lyfe's voice is still rich, but hearing such violent death wishes crooned in a buttery tone over uplifting piano accompaniment was kind of scary. C'mon, dude; you gotta exhale and woo-sah.
