On Stage, Tamar Braxton Is 'The One'

Let's just say that I am very excited about Tamar Braxton's upcoming album Love and War, and I hope you are, too. I can't really put my finger on the reason why. I guess I'm just a sucker for a strong vocal. I don't care how many times I've watched her perform "Love and War" live, she kills it every time, and I enjoy the build-up to the song's highest points. Recently at the Radio One Blitz in Washington, DC, she once again set it off performing "The One" and, of course, "Love and War." In addition to the voice, the hair flinging was on point and we even saw her get down a little with some choreographed moves. This is going to sound so corny, and I probably shouldn't tell you, but I literally smiled through the first performance. I really want to see her succeed this time around. Hopefully I'll get the chance to see her perform when she stops through town with John Legend on his Made to Love Tour. Until then, I'll just have to settle for these videos and patiently wait for her album to (finally) drop on September 3rd. Catch her performance of "The One" below, and hit the bounce to hear her manhandle the title track.
