I think I just found my new favorite song. I just watched Jamie Joseph, while making direct eye contact with the camera and walking around town, sing about the bores of a scheduled love and just plain falling out of it in his song, "Hit the Ground Running." Sad, right? Well, not so much. Although he's surely breaking someone's heart, the song is upbeat and quite catchy with its hand claps and organs, giving it a very "churchy" and slightly retro feel. When the video ended, I immediately hit replay just because the refreshing sound coming from this U.K. soul singer and songwriter compelled me to. One watch and you'll understand why.
