Chris Brown's "Fine China" is still hovering at the top of the pack for "Best R&B Song of 2013....So Far" in my opinion. Its fresh but retro sound still got my aunties on the dance floor this past holiday weekend (even though most older folks didn't know who Breezy was). Rappers like Talib Kweli and Common have put their own spins on the jam, but now Jessie J has added her special blend of melisma to the mix. This acoustic cover sees Jessie at her best -- organic and spontaneous. Sometimes Jessie J's live performances fall victim to her tendency to "do the most," but in this instance she comes off as a live wire, ready to explode on any note that comes her way. Hopefully she can have the same affect on her subsequent performances and music.
