There's trouble in Gary Clark Jr.'s relationship in the video for the song "Numb." The black-and-white clip begins with shots Gary and his lady sitting in bed with their backs to each other and both looking like they woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Then we see her in the kitchen opening up what appears to be an overdue bill by her disgusted reaction and taking her rage out on Gary when he tries to get some sugar. Their interaction doesn't get any better, and he decides to roll out and take a drive in his vintage Cadillac. He winds up on a desolate road, which is the perfect place to stop and break out his electric guitar and an amp, of course. Clark shreds on his axe before he starts to walk down the road and reminisce about sweeter times. Those happy days might be gone, but we're here for whatever provided him with the inspiration to create this passionate bluesy lament.
