Omar Shows Us What Being 'The Man' Looks Like

If you couldn't tell, we here at SBHQ are fairly enamored with Omar's single "The Man." Our love for the track isn't just because this is our first taste of newness from Omar in years; it's also because it's bringing that classic sound that only Omar can give. Even after first hearing it nearly two years ago, we still can't get enough of it. Luckily for us, the single drops in a matter of weeks, and he's just released the track's official video. Director Robin Brunson takes a simple approach for the video, as we see Omar (through that familiar '90's video trope: the fisheye lens) as he takes a stroll. For the most part, it's just Mr. Lye-Fook until the end, when he shares a bit of camera time with a few beautiful and smiling young ladies. It's the perfect warm weather clip that puts us in the mind of fun days in June, which just so happens to be when we'll get to hear his album The Man in full. [H/T: OKP]
