Donell Jones' comeback to R&B is sounding pretty good and looking that way, too, after watching his new music video for the single "Forever." The song already takes the soulful loverman back to familiar territory and the visuals have a similar "where have I seen this before" appeal. Dressed in all white in an all white room with an ocean view and a beautiful woman to round out the scene, Donell is giving me serious Carl Thomas "Emotional" vibes here. But this video has a flavor all its own and focuses on Jones and his lady living and loving in their beachfront abode. I quite enjoyed watching this -- especially the happy ending that solidifies his desire to spend "Forever" with her.
