Ahead of the February 25th release of her latest studio album, To Dust, Alice Russell has released a little teaser, in addition to the official first single, "Heartbreaker." To Dust sees Alice once again team up with partner-in-crime TM Juke, and the duo's long-standing musical chemistry can be heard on "Twin Peaks," a piano and percussion lead mid-tempo groove which shows off Juke's vintage-leaning (not "retro") production and Alice's typically flawless, emotion-packed vocals. I've been lucky enough to take a listen to the full album and I have to say it's Alice's finest to date, and once again proves that she is one of the finest, and most versatile vocalists around today.
