Are you familiar with Soltre James? No? Well then allow me to introduce you. Ms. James (whose first name is pronounced like "sultry") is a Chicago native who at one point had dreams of being an OB-GYN. Lucky for us, her love of music surpassed her love of medicine. Her road to chasing her musical destiny has led her to cross paths with some of our SB faves. She's sung backup for artists like YahZarah, Avery Sunshine and Choklate and has even had the pleasure of gracing the stage with The Roots. And now that road has led her to release her debut single, "I'm Not Coming Back." As the title might suggest, the track is a tasty little kiss off that let's her man know that either he comes correct or she's out the door. The track's smooth, laid back groove is reminiscent of the early days of neo-soul that will have you nodding your head and Soltre's mellow voice will have you singing her praises.
