Freeze-Tag's 'Kiss' Is Enchanting

Yes, it's still the beginning of January, but Valentine's Day will soon be upon us and it's never too early to think ahead. Luckily, Ohio electro-soul artist Freeze-Tag has got you covered. As 2012 drew toward a close, he caught us off guard with his cover of Little Dragon's new standard "Twice." Now he's come back to give us another taste, catching our ears with his romantically-minded original "Kiss, Kiss, Kiss," the latest leak from his upcoming Eskimo EP. From jump, the track's thumping kick drum-led groove and chanting lure you in. From there, it only gets better as space-age sounds permeate the thick kick drum rhythm and the melody floats in ever so subtly. The piano and synth bubble just beneath the song's slightly icy surface, melting it into an undeniable, hypnotic groove that you're sure to be playing on repeat for quite some time. Add in Freeze-Tag's sublime, slightly robotic vocals and you've got yourself something special. Just as "Twice" before it, Freeze-Tag is offering this one as a freebie. So, if you want to ensure that you're V-Day goes right a little more than a month from now, do yourself a favor and download "Kiss, Kiss, Kiss" after taking a listen.
